Welcome to Calorina ("we," "our," "us," or "Calorina"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Calorina regarding your access to and use of the Calorina mobile application (the "App"), our website at calorina.ai (the "Website"), and related services (collectively, the "Services").

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the App or Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App or Website and should uninstall the App immediately.

2. Eligibility and Account Registration

2.1 Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 years old in the EEA) to use the App. If you are under 18, you represent that you have obtained parental or guardian consent.

2.2 Account Creation

To use certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

3. Description of Services

Calorina is a nutrition tracking and calorie management application providing:

• AI-powered food recognition from images
• Barcode scanning for product information
• Calorie and nutrition tracking
• Weight tracking and progress monitoring
• Personalized health recommendations

4. Free and Premium Services

4.3 Subscription Terms

• Billing: Monthly or annual billing via App Store or Google Play.
• Auto-Renewal: Automatically renews unless cancelled 24h before end of period.
• Cancellation: Cancel anytime via app store settings.
• Refunds: Governed by Apple/Google store policies.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You agree NOT to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Upload harmful, threatening, or abusive content
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Interfere with or disrupt the Services
• Attempt to reverse engineer the App
• Use automated systems to access the Services

6. User Content and Data

You retain ownership of your User Content (food images, entries, etc.). By submitting content, you grant us a license to use it to provide the Services and for improvement/analytics. You are solely responsible for your User Content.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

The App and its content (excluding User Content) are owned by Calorina. "Calorina" and related logos are trademarks of Calorina.

8. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with Supabase, OpenAI, Open Food Facts, Google/Apple Sign-In, and Firebase. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms.

9. Disclaimers and Limitations

9.4 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we provide the app "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for indirect damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the last 12 months.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Calorina against claims arising from your use of the App, violation of Terms, or User Content.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may terminate your access if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases.

12. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your Jurisdiction]. Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration, with a waiver of class actions.
